NEW SESSION!      Commenced March 2024

Mindfulness means paying attention to and enjoying the present moment.

This includes your thoughts, feelings, and the world around you.

Being mindful means being ‘aware.’ So, the opposite of being on Auto-Pilot, when we do things without thinking. When we're aware of what we’re doing and what's going on around us we are living life to the full!

This session includes activities such as meditation, movement, art & creativity, appreciation of nature, walking, music, relaxation and much more.

Watch a video of a Mindful Mondays session here:

Music, singing, movement and games.

At Phoenix Rising:MK, the arts, in their many forms, are a key strength of our provision.

This includes Painting, Drawing, Textiles, 3-D construction, Performing Arts, Music, Singing, Photography and Multi-Media.

Our group members have the opportunity to work with professional standard materials and equipment and the latest technology. Staff are highly experienced and qualified in their subjects.

We work with individuals in a person centred approach, allowing them to express their individuality as well as develop creative skills. Everyone achieves through creativity and personal expression!

You will be able to see some of the amazing work the group members produce in the exhibition we are holding at M.K.Museum, as part of the

 'B.U.' FESTIVAL during August 3rd to 5th.

(Thank you Chloe for the video)

Dear Adrian, Sarah, Karina, John, Anita and everyone,

Thank you so much for a wonderful time on Friday with A Night At the Musicals. It was a truly inspiring and wonderful evening, and Pete and I were both very impressed and moved in equal measure.  The performing arts groups must have worked so hard to achieve their splendid performances, and there was obviously a lot of dedicated work from staff, parents and volunteers as well.

What we want to know now is, when can we buy a copy of the video? In fact, we might want several copies for family and friends! It was so enjoyable we haven’t stopped talking about it since!

Many, many thanks and best wishes to all.

I have just seen the most fantastic performance ever, by phoenix rising at the Chrysalis theatre. A night at the musicals. It was indeed. Absolutely amazing. Well done to all. Just when you think it couldn`t get any better!!....It jolly well does!! From my son Arry and I, `We Thank you!!`

Hi Adrian and Sarah

I have to congratulate you and your team but in particular of course to all of the performers on such a successful evening. The commitment, passion and hard work from you all was clearly evident and it was infectious.

It was great to see a full house and the support that it received and in turn the audience received an enjoyable fun show which was delivered with professionalism and supported individuals to show case their talents and potential.

I think there are many of us who want to see what happens in the future and are looking forward to your next event.

You should all feel so proud – please pass my comments on to the performers and your colleagues. GREAT STUFF!!!!

Kind regards
